I've been asked, asked, and asked: What's the story with your site's name?
Well, it's a good one...
Vicodin, for all its benefits, has a few side effects. (I know. I was shocked, too.) Smattered betwixt the buzzing hair follicles, euphoria, contentment, and snuggly warm blanketed pain relief is the occasional nightmare.
Graphic, Technicolor, remember me for days nightmares.
I swim in them, the roiling, unforgiving, ever changing pools that have become my constant companion and inspiration. I write what I dream. Does it exorcize or give them life? I honestly don't know. But on any given night you'll find me here, conversing with personal demons, deep inside the pages of my poetry.
So, there you are. Mystery solved.
But I promise, there's more here than just my psychosis. So please come in and relax a while. The accommodations are cozy, and of course, the host is gracious and ever so friendly. Stay as long as you like. All I ask is that you leave your burdens at the door and drop me a line before you go.
